In line with AEA’s objective of delivering value and solutions to the market place, AEA through its routine global scanning for ideas identified the True Grid Intelligence (TGI) technology as one that could help reduce losses in Power utilities across Africa at competitive cost.
AEA led the technology owners to provide a step-by-step, smart, innovative, customized, portable and cost competitive solution to address the problem of high distribution system losses. AEA invested in working with and bringing the Technology owners into Ghana and over a period of three (3) years secured approval to demonstrate the technology in the national distribution network. The project exceeded TGI expectations. AEA is working with other stakeholders in West Africa to introduce the TGI Technology to them.
