Harriette Amissah-Arthur is a seasoned energy expert with over three decades of leadership in Africa’s power and energy sector. As Executive Partner at Arthur Energy Africa, she has spearheaded transformative projects across West Africa, including Ghana’s first project-financed Independent Power Plant and a US$350 million rural electrification program that brought electricity to over 2,000 communities.


Her expertise spans power system planning, renewable energy integration, energy enterprise development, and strategic advisory for large-scale infrastructure projects. Harriette has advised governments, multilateral institutions, and private investors on energy policy, market entry, and investment strategies, shaping the future of sustainable energy in Africa.

Jabesh’s academic credentials underscore his commitment to excellence: an MBA from the Jack Welch Management Institute (Washington, DC), a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Union College (New York, USA), and certification as a Business Operations Professional (PMI). His unique ability to merge technical depth with business insight positions him as a trusted leader in Africa’s energy transformation.

A Fellow of the Ghana Institution of Engineers and a Council Chair for Women in Engineering Ghana, Harriette is passionate about advancing gender diversity in STEM and driving inclusive energy access. With a career that began at the Volta River Authority and evolved through pioneering roles at KITE and AEA, Harriette combines technical depth with visionary leadership. Her work has influenced policy, resulting in significant reduction in renewable energy feed-in tariffs, and catalyzed clean energy entrepreneurship across the continent.
